RISK ... doesn't have to be risky!

Walking outside of the CN Tower on a ledge that is over 116 stories above the ground sounds very risky. 

A person would need nerves of steel and incredible athletic abilities to complete a full circuit around the tower. Yet, thousands of people of all ages and physical abilities have safely completed this trip through the Edge Walk experience.

How can such a risky adventure be safe? Consider some of the risks and how they are mitigated.

RISK  MITIGATION
Falling 

All participants wear a harness that is secured to an overhead rail by two very strong leads.

Dropping items on persons below.

All participants remove (and lock up) loose items such as watches and rings, and wear a jumpsuit over their street clothes, so there is nothing that can be dropped.

Fear Experienced guides instruct participants through progressive exercises to overcome their fear and enjoy a sense of accomplishment.
