  • Reported to the Head of Personal Insurance. Responsible for underwriting strategy and underwriting compliance across the national Personal Insurance home and automobile portfolio, including all coverage wordings, all underwriting eligibility and the underwriting audit framework. 
  • Led a team of underwriting experts who are empowered to do the best work of their lives, including
    • Senior Underwriting Managers, with accountabilities, by region and channel, for coverage wordings, eligibility rules, content of insurance manuals, and technical advice for operations and other stakeholders. - Senior Manager of Underwriting Compliance, with a team of auditors, accountable for testing and reporting on underwriting quality by distributors and underwriting operations.
    • Underwriting Analytics Manager, with an analytics team, accountable for management information and data analysis related to the effectiveness of underwriting rules, and the quality of business
    • Underwriting documents team, accountable for all wordings, manuals, and insurance forms. 
  • Collaborated with multiple stakeholders in pricing, product, strategy, systems, distribution channels, and operations, to deliver viable insurance solutions that put the customer first.
